A video of the group people riding a motor boat in Surigao City went viral on social media. While on their way to their destination the group tried to take a groufie when the boat they were riding has lost balance and suddenly capsized.

These women are said to be from a religious fellowship, according to Myrah Murillo, who uploaded the video.

It can be witnessed and heard in the video that the group said "die to selfie" before the boat sank.

Myra Murillo who uploaded the video said they were supposed to upload it on their 'my day' when the incident suddenly happen.

Here's what Myra Murillo posted on her account:

"The message from our fellowship is really good indeed from its title 'Die to Selfie' but the theme became a horror when evil starts to move, they heard it in a negative way, our tongues really have the power," he said.

"The scriptures said in Proverbs 18:21: The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences. Then I realized that the theme has two meanings, positive & negative. So Let us be extra careful with our words, let it be that it pleases GOD not the evil," he said.

Their loved ones have nothing to worry about because they are all safe and no one was hurt. This time he thanked God for their safety."
