Award-winning actress Jaclyn Jose announced retirement from the entertainment industry.
Through her social media account, the veteran actress posted a photo of her at the recent GMA Thanks giving Gala along with a caption, "I am retiring....marami po salamat."
According to Jaclyn her decision to leave showbiz wasn't easy, but her daughter Andi and Gwen is her priority for now.
"Masakit. But I know I have to go," she said.
Adding that "I just love Andi and Gwen most and foremost to have come into this."
In 2016, Jaclyn bagged the Best Actress Award at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
"We all may have different priorities and beliefs as parents raising our children, but the most important gift we can give to our children is to love, and love them with all our hearts. With that, you won't go wrong. And this I learned from YOU," said Andi.
She continued:"Maraming salamat sa walang sawang pagmamahal at pag alaga sa amin. Wala ako rito kung hindi dahil sa iyong pagmamahal at suporta. Mahal na mahal ka namin!"
