NETIZENS PRAISES VICE GANDA FOR RECITING PREAMBLE OF PH CONSTITUTION

 Viewers was left surprised when Vice Ganda made an impromptu recitation of the 1987 Philippine Constitution during a live episode of "It's Showtime". The video quickly went viral on Wednesday.



During the Miss Q&A segment of the noontime show, contestant Adha Stone, shared her aspiration of becoming a lawyer.





Then Vice asked Adha, "What is law?"



Adha tried to answer Vice in a humorous way but the comedian answered it seriously that left many of the viewers in awe.


“And the most basic, fundamental, and the supreme law of the land is called the Constitution,” he continued.


The comedian continued by reciting the preamble of the 1987 Philippine Constitution from memory and mentioned some of its articles.



A clip of the moment was shared on social media platforms as netizens praised Vice Ganda. 


One Twitter post earned a whopping 27,500 likes as of this posting.


“VICE GANDA DID IT AGAIN!!! Peram brain cells!” the user wrote.



“Caught Vice Ganda on Showtime today citing the entire preamble of the Philippine Constitution, and the different article heading sections from I to IX. Bigla akong nahiya bilang Pilipino,” another user wrote, drawing 48,400 likes so far.


Vice Ganda was a political science student at Far Eastern University who hoped to pursue a career in law.


He joked, "Gusto ko maging kriminal kaya inaral ko ‘yung batas para alam ko kung paano ko sasalbahin ang sarili ko!"



Meanwhile, Ateneo Law professor Mickey Ingles has praised the comedian for showing his knowledge of the Philippine constitution.



The lawyer said, Vice 'deserves a 90 mark in his constitutional class'.
