Actor Lee Ji Han, 25, the former Produce 101 Season 2 contestant was reported to be one of the casualties in the Itaewon Halloween tragedy.
The news was confirmed by Han's agency 935 Entertainment on October 30, "It's true that Lee Ji Han passed ways due accident in Itaewon on October 29," the agency said in a statement.
"We send our deepest condolences to his surviving family, who are deeply saddened by the sudden tragic news," it added.
"We still remember Lee, who always had a big smile and greeted people with energy. He was a bright and pure person and we cannot believe that we cannot see him anymore.
Lee Ji Han has rose to fame when he joined "Produce 101 Season 2" and debuted as an actor in 2019 through a series "Today Was Another Nam Hyeon Day."
Reports suggest that he is set to star in a new drama series which will be premiered in January 2023.
