'MARA CLARA AND IBARRA' GAIN REACTIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE

The newest historical portal fantasy series, Mara Clara and Ibarra captured the new generations' hearts in its first week. 



The fantasy series was based on Jose Rizal's novels, "Noli Me Tangere" and "El Filibusterismo".



The said series was also followed by some teachers and students as they could relate to some of its characters.

In its first week, the audience was able to witness the life struggles of gen Z and a nursing student named, Klay, played by Barbie Forteza. 


It was shown in the first episode how Klay was transported to the series 'Noli Me Tangere'.


The audience met also Mara Clara and Crisostomo Ibarra who were played by Julie Anne San Jose and Dennis Trillo.



In the Facebook post of a teacher from Tarlac named, Charlaine Alyssa Domingo Sese,  it was visible that students were focused on watching Mara Clara and Ibarra during their recess. 


Teacher Charlaine was also overwhelmed now that her students were interested in the history of the country and the Noli Me Tangere. 


Many young generations can relate to Klay who felt sleepy while reading the novel 'Noli Me Tangere'.
