ROBERTA ANGELA TAMONDONG OFFICIALLY APPOINTED AS 5TH RUNNER-UP OF THE MISS GRAND INTERNATIONAL 2022

 Miss Grand International 2022 has appointed Roberta Angela "Ro-An" Tamondong as one of the fifth runners-up in the recently concluded beauty pageant.

The decision was announced today, October 30, through the official social  media page of Miss Grand International.

"Miss Grand International Organization would like to announce the appointment of Roberta Angela Tamondong , Miss Grand Philippines 2022 as the new 5th runner-up of Miss Grand International 2022," the announcement read.

Added that, "She will be a part of the Top 10 and will continue her mission with the MGI team for a year. Congratulations and welcome to the #GRAND family. (heart emoji)."

Meanwhile, Tamondong shared the news on her Instagram account which appears she's accepting the title. 

"It's Official," she said.

The decision of Miss Grand International was released two days after the official resignation of Miss Mauritius, Yuvna Rinishta, as the official 5th runners-up Miss Grand International 2022.

According to Miss Grand International Facebook account, Rinishta wasn't able to sign a contract and can no longer make her duty as 5th runners up.

"She can no longer use the title with immediate effects," the announcement read.

Miss Grand Mauritius meanwhile, through its Instagram account cleared the issue of not signing the contract: "Due to not being aligned with @missgrndinternational latest behavior with our organization and others." The Instagram account was currently deactivated.

Miss Grand International pageant official social media page appeared to have suffered also a significant dropped on its followers with estimated 2-milion pageant fans have left.

It appears that most numbers of Vietnamese fans had unfollowed after Miss grand Vietnam Doan Thien An did not enter the Top 10.
