An Ilagueño, Isabela won and gave honor after winning the Production Junior champion title at the recently held World Handgun Championship.
Aeron Lanuza is from Barangay Naguilian Norte, City of Ilagan Isabela.
The said competition was held in Pattaya, Thailand on November 25 to December 3 and was attended by 1,345 participants from 73 countries around the world.

Aside from the Production Junior Champion title, Lanuza has also been named the champion in the Production Junior-Shoot-Off and Production Overall-Shoot-off.
His team (ARMSCOR) won second place in Production Team and third place in Production Overall.
According to Lanuza, it was a great honor for him to be the representative of the Philippines in the said competition but a sweeter victory indeed, as he brings pride and honor to the country.
"True champion wasn't born but trained", Lanuza captioned his post.
He added, " Years of practice, patience, and perseverance have shaped me into where I am today. Years doubting my capabilities as a shooter but look where I am now, representing my country internationally. As one od the representative is a great honor ready but bringing home the bacon will always be the sweetest victory".
Lanuza expressed his gratitude to his entire family, sponsors even the LGU Ilagan and Provincial Government of Isabela for the support they gave him throughout his journey.
