Andrew Schimmer's wife, Jhoromy Rovero, passed away this Tuesday after a year-long battle with hypoxemia.
The actor himself announced the sad news through his video post on his Facebook.
"The love of my life...my wife..my best friend..my partner in everything. Remember your promise together forever 💔", Schimmer captioned his post.

Andrew was on the taping of "Family Feud Philippines" when he received a call from the doctors at the hospital because Jhoromy suddenly lost blood pressure and oxygen saturation.
"Dali-dali naman tayong dumating dito. Inabutan nation siyang actual na nirerevive ng ating doctors and nurses. They did everything they could...Ang sakit lang!", Andrew expressed.
Adding to the pain in their hearts was the fact that his wife passed away on their youngest's birthday.
"Birthday ng bunso namin mamaya. Hindi siya inabutang ng bunso namin," Andrew said.
Andrew thanked all the people who prayed for his wife and helped them.
"Ito yung ating sleeping beauty. Iniwan niya na tayo mga kapatid, " the actor added.
It was last November 2021 when Jhoromy was comatose due to asthma.
And just last October, Andrew shared Jhoromy's discharge from the hospital after nearly a year of bed rest. But, after just seven days they had to go back to the hospital because Jhoromy experienced numbness in her body.
