DJ ALESSO APOLOGIZES FOR A CANCELLED CONCERT IN MANILA

Swedish Dj Alesso has apologized after concert-goers took to social media to share their disappointment over a postponed concert in Manila last December 17, Saturday.

He was supposed to give his fans an early Christmas treat called "ALESSO" featuring Acraze at the SMDC Festival Grounds  in Parañaque City. It was also his comeback performance after six years.

Concert organizer Ovation Production posted an announcement on Saturday at 5:15 P.M., "ALESSO UPDATE: Doors moved to 7 p.m. due to inclement weather."

In a deleted post which made the rounds online, the company anounced hours before Alesso's performance saying that the DJ will no longer be performing.

Added that ACRAZE was still performing for free to the night's show.

On Instagram, Alesso posted a video of having a DJ set in Bali on Saturday, appeared to be at the same time he was supposed to perform in Manila.

It wasn't clear to when his Bali show was held, but fans responded to the comments section of his post demanding an explanation why he did not show up in his Manila gig.

To his response via Instagram story, Alesso said the circumstances were out of his control.

"Manila, due to circumstances that were out of my control, i'm deeply sorry that my show was cancelled," he said.

"ME and my team are doing our best to make this up to you. I'm sorry for this!" he added.

Disgusted fan who have flown from Mindanao to Manila to see his performance said: "We're from Mindanao, flew here because of this event, because of Alesso and PATTY TIU. Sila talagang dalwa wala eh Badtrip."

Ticket were priced at P4,990 and P6,990. He is known for his producing songs "Heroes (We Could Be)," "When I'm Gone," "Remedy," and "Only You."
