A lady guard from SM supermall was praised for her honesty after returning a huge amount of cash and other valuables to the owner.
While the country is celebrating the heroism of Andres Bonifacio on November 30, 2022, Nenita Dela Cruz also displayed a heroic act when she returned a bag containing P77,000 cash with several cards and ID's. She discovered the bag at the floor of the mall's entrance.
Without hesitation, Cruz immediately turned over to the Customer Relations Service (CRS) office the items she found. The husband of the owner claimed the item after verification.
Her action was recognized by the SM City Iloilo as commendable and heroic act in the performance of her duty.
