A teacher in Pagbilao National High School goes above and beyond for his class. Teacher Michael Ayore Royo found an alternative way to inspire others to stay engaged and be creative amid the pandemic.
In one of his class, teacher Michael was pictured wearing a costume of Captain Hook while he was teaching his students.

"Yung activity ko po, since galing tayo sa pandemic and the activity is designed also to motivate and encourage participation among our students," said teacher Michael. Thanks to his unique way of keeping the students engaged during the face-to-face class.
"It's also one way to promote the quality of teaching...that we can give to our students," he added.

While the pandemic have really impacted badly the mental health of many of his students, his creativity was accurate. In fact, his student as well as DepEd-Quezon praised the teacher for his unique way of teahing.
"Ito po ay magandang senyales at magandang hudyat na healthy ang discussion sa loob ng silid-aralan at alam po ba ninyo na mas natututo ang mga bata kapag masaya sila sa loob ng classroom," said OIC Schools Division Superintendent of DepEd Quezon, Dr. Elias Alicaya Jr.
