In an illustration of people being brothers, a police officer has filled the hearts of netizens on social media after posting a photograph of him playing chess with behind prisoner bars.
PCpl Arman Louie Buban, who works at the Sorsogon Police Provincial Office, became famous online for posting a photograph of himself and a prisoner immersed in a game, with the subtitle, "No walls can separate us from being a chess player."
Buban said in an interview with Pilipino Star Ngayon Digital that as the leader of a chess club in his neighborhood district of Magallanes, he accepts everybody is equal with regards to the chess board. “I want to promote the game of chess for everyone, regardless of wealth, employment status, age, or background,” he said.
His photo has since earned over 7K shares with remarks in the comments section expressing their praised and love to the police officer.
