LONE CHURCH SURVIVES AT THE MAUI WILDFIRES

 Incredible miracle!

This church which was built in 1846 has left untouched during a horrifying wildfires that have killed at least 99 people in Maui County in Hawaii.

Maria Lanakila Catholic Church in Lahaina is the lone structure that was spared by tragedy while thousand of structures around it was burnt into ashes.

"Incredible Miracle,' says Reverend Monsignor Terrence Watanabe during an interview with News Nation.

He said that people generally attempt to search for the presence of God on the planet, whether it be a rainbow or individuals' love for each other; yet this was a completely separate level of God's presence.

Right behind the congregation once stood a convent, preschool and two classrooms that all torched in the fire. Yet, the church and the rectory nearby made survived.

He described everything was untouched or damaged inside the church after the blaze.

This is not the first time when almost similar event happened, after the attacks on 9/11 where the 17th century St. Paul's Chapel in new York City was left untouched while the World Trade Center towers collapsed, destroying everything around them.
