QC ROAD RAGE INCIDENT NEW VIDEO WENT VIRAL

 CCTV footage captured the viral road rage incident of an ex-cop Wilfredo "Willie" Gonzales and a cyclist which was happened in Quezon City last August 8.



The incident became the talk of the town when the video uploaded on social media went viral showing the ex-cop cocking his gun while confronting a cyclist.

Another angle of the viral video was shared by Raymond Fortun on August 30.




"A second angle of the August 8, 2023 road rage incident involving the cyclist and the dismissed cop," wrote Fortun in the caption.


The lawyer and also an avid cyclist shared a video from a nearby CCTV showing Gonzales driving his car swerve into the bike lane, stopping the cyclist. As soon as he stopped he confronted the cyclist and cocks a gun. He even seen hitting the cyclist on the helmet.


Gonzales then grabbed the cyclist and drag with his bike at the side of the road.


According to the reports, the two has resolved the incident on the police station. But according to Fortun, the cyclist will not be pressing charges "out of fear for his family."



But the lawyer step up to undertake the filing of complaints. According to Fortun, the cyclist was allegedly taken to a police and was made to pay P500 for the supposed damage to the car.


Update:

Meanwhile, Gonzales' driver's license has been suspended for 90 days by the Land Transportation Office and his gun has been surrendered to QC police.


Director Nicolas Torre III, QCPD chief has also submitted his resignation following backlash on social media.
