Bacolod City's world-renowned Masskara Festival is set to dazzle once again as the "Sapphire Edition" kicks off on October 11 and culminates in a spectacular street and arena dance competition on October 27. The event schedule was unveiled on Tuesday by the festival organizer, Bacolod Yuhum Foundation Inc.
Beyond the main event, this year's Masskara promises a month-long celebration filled with excitement. Visitors can look forward to the MassKaralympics (October 4-25), MassKanamit cookfest (October 15-17), Miss Bacolod Masska finals (October 19), Lacson Masskara 2024: Kingdom (October 25-27), MassKarade Ball (October 25), and Electric Masskara (October 26).
Known for its infectious energy, the Masskara Festival was a vibrant showcase of Bacolodnon resilience and creativity. HUndreds of dancers donning colorful costumes and iconic smiling masks fill the streets and the stadium, transforming the city into a sea of joy.
