The iconic Fort Strip in Bonifacio Global City is set to close its doors indefinitely on January 1, 2025. This unexpected news follows the recent closure of Nectar Nightclub, a beloved LGBTQ+ venue.
BGC announced the closure, stating, "This is goodbye for now but not forever. We’ll be back. Better than you remember, and better than you can imagine. Until we close up on Jan 1, feel free to hang out at The Strip like you’ve always done! We’ll see you there.”
The Fort Strip has been a cornerstone of BGC’s vibrant nightlife scene, housing popular establishments like Pier One, Prince of Jaipur, Embassy, and Amber Ultra Lounge. While the exact reasons for the closure remain undisclosed, speculation suggests a potential redevelopment of the area into residential or commercial spaces.
Other businesses in the vicinity, such as L'Opera Ristorante and FUGA Bar and Restaurant, will also cease operations to accommodate the demolition.
