Kai Sotto Continues to Shine in Japan B.League

Kai Sotto continues to impress in the Japan B.League. In a recent match against the Kawasaki Brave Thunders, Sotto dominated with a game-high 25 points and 18 rebounds, leading his Koshigaya Alphas to a 100-74 victory. His coach, Ryuzo Anzai, praised Sotto's athleticism and potential for further growth.

Other Filipino imports in the B.League also had mixed results. Dwight Ramos' Levanga Hokkaido defeated the Akita Northern Happinets, with Ramos contributing six points in limited minutes. Ray Parks Jr.'s Osaka Evessa secured a win over the Shibuya Sun Rockers, with Parks Jr. recording a well-rounded performance of 12 points, five rebounds, five assists, a steal, and a block.

Unfortunately, not all Filipino players had successful outings. AJ Edu's Nagasaki Velca lost to Alvark Tokyo, despite Edu's solid rebounding performance. Roosevelt Adams' Yamagata Wyverns also suffered a defeat, with Adams contributing eight points and six rebounds. Geo Chiu's Ehime Orange Vikings had a particularly tough game against the Shinshu Brave Warriors, losing by a significant margin.

As the B.League season progresses, Filipino players continue to make their mark on the Japanese basketball scene. Their performances not only showcase their individual skills but also contribute to the growing popularity of basketball in the Philippines.
