Singer-songwriter Rico Blanco is adding another feather to his entrepreneurial cap with the launch of his latest venture: Motel Mambo, a stylish new hotel in the surfing haven of La Union.

Located along the bustling MacArthur Highway in Urbiztondo, San Juan, Motel Mambo offers cozy loft-style rooms designed to accommodate both couples and families seeking a relaxing getaway. The musician-turned-entrepreneur shared his excitement, stating, "This La Union hotel has been a dream that took me 8 years to fulfill."

The recent opening saw a star-studded gathering with several of Blanco's friends from the music industry gracing the event. Spotted enjoying the laid-back vibes of Motel Mambo were BINI's Maloi, Ben&Ben's Pat Lasaten and Agnes Reoma, Over October's Joshua Caleb Lua, singer-songwriter Ischi, soloists Blaster Salonga and Zild Benitez, and renowned celebrity photographer Shaira Luna.

"I'm so blessed and thankful to have talented, hardworking, and fun artist friends taking a much-deserved break, unwinding and recharging with me on my first time back since our doors officially opened," expressed a grateful Blanco.
