In the opening of Men's Basketball Tournament of the 2018 Asian Games, Gilas Pilipinas will face Kazakhstan in the first game.
The incomplete 11-man lineup will be filled with Filipino-American Jordan Clarkson who gets a green light to play but won't make it with the first game with Kazakhstan.
Having Clarkson in the fold would have been a huge boost for the Philippine team. If the Gilas Pilipinas will lose to Kazakhstan, they will be in a must-win situation against China in their next game.
Gilas Pilipinas vs Kazakhstan game will start Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 11:am Philippine time at GBK Basketball Hall.
While Clarkson will miss the 1st game of Gilas Pilipinas against Kazahkstan as he is scheduled to arrive tomorrow at 11am also in Jakarta. Jordan Clarkson is set to join the team and play with Gilas against China on August 21.
