UP's Fighting Maroons mens basketball team has another offer to take into consideration once they will win the UAAP 2018 title. Sen. Manny Pacquiao challenged the Maroons to win the championship and a sweet incentives awaits them as he will treat them a free trip to US to watch for his fight against Adrien Broner.
The eight division world champion will going clash Broner in a title fight on January 19 at the MGM Grand in Las Vigas, Philstar reported.
"This would surely inspire and fire up the UP Fighting Maroons to go for the most-coveted UAAP championship plum," said Pacquaio.
After 32 long years of waiting, finally the University of the Philippines (UP) Maroon to face its neighbors Ateneo de Manila University "Blue Eagles" on the finals of UAAP Season 81 men's basketball.
Recently, the University of the Philippines won against Adamson University, 89-87, in an epic overtime battle that lead UP Maroons going to the finals.
