This man most probably has the biggest regret in his entire life when he chooses his wants. A Chinese man will now bedridden for his entire life after his remaining kidney failed as he sold his other kidney to buy a new iPhone.
Wang Shangkun, 25, was at aged of 17 when he decided to sold his right kidney to black market organ harvester in April 2011.
However, it turned out that the operation is not certified and a major threat to man's life.
Mr. Wang from Anhui Province in East China received AUD$4,500 in exchange of his kidney and before going back home he purchased an iPhone 4 and iPad 2 with the money.
The man now spends his days in bed and relies on dialysis to survive his kidney failure, local media reported.
A renal defieciency had developed shortly after illegal surgery, which causes different infections due to unsanitary set up.
Nine people were arrested in connection with the case, 3 middleman and 2 surgeons were charged in the city of Chenzhou.
