Google Doodles celebrates 158th birthday of Jose Rizal

Google celebrates the Philippine National Heroes birthday through its Doodles. Today, June 19, 2019 marks the 158th birth anniversary of Jose Rizal. History says, Rizal is a physician, naturalist, linguist, and novelist was born in Calamba, Laguna on June 19, 1861 to Francisco Mercado Rizal and Teodoro Alonso.

On the left, doodle showed a quill pen which Rizal used as a greatest weapon in his time for his works and writings, as he fought for the freedom of the Filipinos. On the right side is the magnifying glass to represent his occupation as a ophthalmologist. 

Behind the doodle of his face shows part of his writings, while below is a drawing of two of his famous books, which is believe to be the Noli Me tangere and El Filibusterismo.
