After a decade of supremacy and have won more American Music Awards, Taylor Swift deserves a decade award! She is set to receive the prestigious Artist of the Decade award this 2019 at the American Music Awards.

Executive vice president for programming and development for Dick Clark Productions Marco Bacco said, "Taylor’s impact on music this decade is undeniable and her performances on the American Music Awards have been truly spectacular. We’re thrilled to honor her as our artist of the decade and can’t wait for her to blow everyone away with an epic, career-spanning performance unlike any other!"
She has the most AMA wins of any female artist ever with 23 awards, won the Artist of the Year award four times and has been nominated again on the same category this year.
Other categories Swift is nominated in include Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist, Favorite Music Video, Favorite Pop/Rock Album for "Lover" and Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist.
Meanwhile Garth Brooks is the only artist so far who have received the prestigious award in the year 2000.
