Brgy. chairman calls out President Duterte for using them a 'scapegoat' of his administration issues went viral

Barangay Canagahan San Remegio chairman in Cebu went viral after she took to social media and raised her concerns over President Duterte's instructions for the Brgy. Chairman in country to do their part and help the people affected by the community quarantine.



On a screen grabbed photo of alleged Barangay Captain Nicole Cambal, it can be read on her post that she criticized the president's instruction to help and take care of their constituent in the midst of coronavirus pandemic. Cambel in a now deleted Facebook post said that the President is making the barangay chairman a "scapegoat" for his administrations poor actions in handling the issue. 



She also questioned the national government support to her poor barangay to control the pandemic.


"Hello mister president, with what resources have you provided our office in order to contain this pandemic?"

"Anyway please stop using us as a scapegoat,” Cambal said.

“Your administration has handled this issue poorly, don’t blame us. ALSO AS BARANGAY CAPTAIN, I HAVE CANCELLED MY ASSEMBLY AND FIESTA. NO FUNERAL GATHERINGS NO ONE IN THE COCKPITS. THERE. WITH NO ADDITIONAL FUNDS TO CONDUCT PROPER HEALTH INSPECTION. THIS IS ALL I CAN DO,” she added.





When President Rodrigo Duterte said that he's going after to irrespinsible Brgy Captains, Cambal dared the president to come to her place.

“Hala sige Duterte come to my barangay,” she said.




“Poor na poor na nga ang barangay ko tapos now this President is causing dispute within my constitutents g*go giving me more problems,” she said.


After her post went viral, Nicole Cambal deactivated her Facebook account.
