Madonna, the Queen of Pop took to Instagram on Thursday (April 30) saying she has tested positive for coronavirus antibodies.
On her Quarantine diary clip posted on her Instagram account she said, "Took a test the other day. And I found out that I have the antibodies. So tomorrow, I’m just going to go for a long drive in the car… and I’m going to breathe in the COVID-19 air. Yep. I hope the sun is shining."
However, the American Centers for Disease Control has announced that the presence of COVID-19 antibodies in one’s system is not a foolproof indication that one is immune to the virus.
The CDC has yet to confirm if the possession of antibodies is equal to immunity.
Meanwhile, Madonna announced at the beginning of April that she was donating $1 million to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for its efforts of finding drug to treat Covid-19.
