Viral nurse who helped a homeless woman deliver her baby received P100K from Raffy Tulfo

Raffy Tulfo was so thrilled when he learned the story of the viral nurse identified as Mary Lorraine Pingol, who helped a homeless woman deliver her baby in a sidewalk in Makati.

Tulfo commended Pingol for her kindness without looking in return and she ignored the risks involved especially in the current health crisis. The radio host  decided to reward her with P100,000 cash.

You were at the right place at the right time,” Tulfo said to Pingol.

It can be recalled that the 29-year-old nurse approached to see a homeless woman giving birth where no medical personnel at the scene.

She cut the umbilical cord and asked barangay officials to immediately bring the mother and son to the nearest hospital.

Pingol revealed she's a leukemia survivor, and Tulfo offered her the P100K for her medications.

Maraming salamat,” she said.
