Maine Mendoza denies any connection to sex scandal video, seeks authorities help

 Maine Mendoza and her management, All Access to Artist, Inc., are seeking help from authorities to determine the perpetrators of a scandal video which circulated online.





"Wtf???? Sobrang kamukha ko kinilabutan ako pero hindi ako to!” Maine said on her reaction over a viral video, one of her fans encouraged her to report the malicious post.







Maine clarified that she is not the woman in a circulating video scandal that supposed shows her doing lewd acts.




Meanwhile, Rams David, talent manager of Maine, also warned the public regarding cyber crime, citing Republic Act 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.



"YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!" he wrote in a tweet, alongside photo describing cybercrime.



All Access Artists management group, said the video "has been digitally manipulated using deepfake technology." 







“We will not hesitate to take appropriate legal action against any person circulating the same. We intend to hold those individuals criminally and civilly liable for the damage caused to Ms. Mendoza," the statement reads.





“Rest assured that we are taking all the necessary steps to hold the individuals involved accountable and we are coordinating with the proper government agencies to remove the content online permanently,” it added.
