Dashcam captures actual footage of MOA Globe allegedly stolen by a helicopter

A shocking news went viral at early morning on Sunday, November 13, after it was reported that the iconic Globe at the Mall of Asia was allegedly stolen.

Social media folks in the Philippines came alive and halted their dreams for awhile after learning the news. One said: "Bro its very odd that the Mall of Asia globe was stolen like as if nothing had happened. How could that happen considering how big that globe is? Unless u r one of those colossal titans then it's tolerable. But the fact that it as stolen even though it was placed on a busy road makes me think it's absurd and only up for some business stunts."

Photos that have surfaced online shows an empty center island with the iconic globe disappear.

Meanwhile, the SM Mall of Asia management posted this official statement on their Facebook page.

"SM Mall of Asia is currently working with authorities in investigating the MOA Globe incident.

"With our security measures in place, rest assured that the SM Mall of Asia continues to be a safe for your family and friends."

The scene is just like a Hollywood movie. A dashcam footage shows the MOA Globe was allegedly stolen by helicopter.

"I thought it was a hoax but apparently it’s true. And no one did anything while the MOA globe was being harnessed and carried away? No one saw it happening? Are choppers even allowed to fly at this time of the night? Who is watching our skies? What’s going on??" said Gary Valenciano.
