A woman known to be as a "dragon lady" was nabbed by the National Bureau of Investigation - Task Fore Against Illegal Drugs (NBI-TFAID) in a garment store in Batangas. According to authorities, the suspect has a decade old warrant of arrest due to her involvement on illegal activity.
The high-priority drug personality identified as Florentina Natindim Tee was nabbed with the helped of an informant.
"She earned the monicker of a 'Dragon Lady' because she is married to a Chinese national, and then may connection siya with a Chinese Triad. Warrant of arrest niya was for a kilo of cocaine. She is selling in bulk. She is using helicopters in transporting illegal drugs," sabi ni NBI-TFAID chief Rosa Jonathan Galicia.
Tee, managed to come and go in the country despite of her outstanding warrant.
"She was able to change her identity. She used her maiden name to ellude arrest," Galicia added.
Authorities are on their follow-up operation to Tee's group, and said that they are now investigating all the activities and other personalities link to Tee.
