Darryl Yap's 'Maid in Malacañang' new teaser released by Viva Films, has taken over the internet since its release, August 1 by Viva Films.
The debate is still going on, and it shows no sign of slowing down after a teaser showed which appeared to be former President Cory Aquino and a group of Carmelite nuns playing majhong. The controversial film depicts after a supposed first Edsa People Power Revolution broke out.
The new teaser was greeted with such response from divided Filipinos, with some came out to defend the late president and the nuns.

“It was not only Pres. Aquino who was disrespected in this scene, but also the Carmelite nuns in Cebu who hid her inside their enclosed monastery. This movie is all about lies and historical distortions meant to glorify a fallen and disgraced family. Utterly shameless," one said.

While others have criticised the movie and described it as 'Fake News', some has glorified it as the best film ever!
