This is now the situation at DSWD Regional Office X on the first day of the distribution of cash assistance for students, Saturday, August 20, 2022.
DSWD secretary Erwin Tulfo previously announced that they will provide cash assistance from elementary to college.
An influx of people is now expected at DSWD offices because of the announcement.
In the past few days, parents and students flocked to schools to get an enrollment certificate which is one of the requirements that must be submitted.
On the first day of pay-out thousands of students and parents lined up. In the video taken by BOMBO RADYO CDO, it can be seen the influx of people and it can also be seen in the video that some of those who lined up passed out.
