Gilas Pilipinas players Jordan Clarkson and Dwight Ramos wasn't pleased by fans at Mall of Asia Arena booed coach Chot Reyes during a match on Monday against Saudi Arabia.

"He's part of us, he's one of us. And booing him in the crowd, whatever is going on, I'm not here a lot throughout the years so I don't really know what's going on but seeing this last days, he kinda received some boos here. He's our coach. He's one of us. He works hard. He put us all together. From when I've been here, he pour it all out in the game," Clarkson said during a post game interview.

Carkson who made 23 points added that, "He ain't got to deal with none of those boos. He's coming back to this game cause he love it. He loves the country. He loves this team and each and everyone of us."

That couldn't stop also Dwight Ramos to expressed his sentiments saying, "I'll appreciate you guys not booing our coach. We're all together as one and I really didn't appreciate that. It wasn't a good way for us to start the game. So if you're gonna support us, support all of us cause we're all in one team."

Meanwhile, Chot Reyes on his part said: "You know how many haters i have but I know that there are also supporters."

"So for me, I'd much rather get boo'd by the crowd that the players getting bood. Boo-him niyo ako nang todo, 'wag lang nilang i-boo yong mga players.

"There is no "me" in this whole thing for me. The only reason I'm doing this is for the country. This is just my service for the flag and the country. And, like what I told my players in the locker room, the relationship, the bonds that we built.

"! am willing to take all of that hate, all of that, as Jordan Clarson says, 'all of that s***," he added.

Gilas Pilipinas bounced back as they defeated Saudi Arabia in front of more than 19K strong crowd at the Mall of Asia Arena, Monday, 84-46.
