Super Typhoon Mawar is could be the most powerful storm globally so far of 2023, Joint Typhoon Warning Centre (JTWC) said.
Mawar has since gain strength as it moves at the upper west northwestward of the Philippine Sea.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) bulletin as of 4PM on Friday, Mawar was spotted 1,725 kilometers east of Central Luzon packed with maximum winds of 215 kilometers per hour and 260 kph gusts.
Mawar's maximum winds have surged to 185mph on Friday as it exits Guam, pouring heavy rains and powerful winds. Bringing tens of thousands of home without power.
