Elephant saves drowning man went viral - video

Bangkok, Thailand - A recent video in Thailand that became viral, an elephant was rushed, jump into the river to save a drowning man.

An article by The Telegraph said that the sub-adult elephan, named Kham Lha, ran through a stream to save a man she thought was getting washed away.

The video was taken at Elephant Nature Park, a sanctuary and rescue center in Northern Thailand.

The drowning man was named DArrick. Darrick was among the activists who had rescued Kham Lha. Darrik was floating alone in a stream, calling out were heared by elephant and here come's Kham Lha to the rescue.

An article by The Times of India said, the elephant probably interpreted Darrik's shouts as calls for help, the reason why Kham Lha ran into the water to save him.he video, uploaded by elephantnews last October 12, has been viewed more than 6.5 million times and has been receiving positive comments all around the globe.
