Oklahoma Thunder's plane damaged by bird strike during mid-air flight - Photo

The nose of the aircraft carrying Oklahoma Thunder basketball team was damaged during mid-air flight on Saturday. Delta's Boeng 757, which departed from Minneapolis, Minnesota reportedly hit a bird. Teams of Oklahoma City Thunder were left surprise when they saw the damage after disembarking Delta flight 8935. Several players posted photos of the damage aircraft on social media.


"What possibly could we have hit in the SKY at this time of night? Everyone is Safe, Though."said Carmelo Anthony in his Instagram.

“You never take anything for granted, just be thankful and blessed they we were able to land the plane and everything was OK,” Thunder star Russell Westbrook said. “Seeing stuff like that just shows you how you need to cherish life and understand the important things in life and embrace every moment.”
