50 new nurses top the June 2018 Nursing Board Exam

Majority of the nursing graduates who top the June 2018 Nursing board exam are came from outside the Metro Manila.

Mark Tristan Pangilinan Robosa from the University of Pangasinan topped the exam with a rating of 87.6 percent, based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission Tuesday night, June 19.





Tied at 2nd place, with a rating of 87.2 percent, are Andrew Rey Lao del Fierro, Philip Gabriel Gillegao Gimotea, Deanna Corinne Enano Serrano and Sherwynne Paola Lasam Trinidad.

Del Fierro and Gimotea are from Xavier University (Ateneo de Cagayan) in Cagayan de Oro City while Serrano is a graduate of Bicol University in Legazpi City and Trinidad, a graduate of Saint Paul University in Tuguegarao, Cagayan.

Landing in 3rd place is Frances Isabela Cortez Seno from Velez College in Cebu, with a rating of 87 percent.

Of the 50 topnotchers, only 11 are graduates of Metro Manila colleges and universities. The rest came from schools outside the capital.

Aside from Seno of Velez College, six other nursing graduates from Cebu made it to the top 10.

Honey Sheen Gengone Bangquiao of Cebu Normal University (CNU) tied with six others at 8th place with a score of 85.8 percent.

In 9th place together with five others are Dexter Redd Urbano Gomez of Cebu Doctors' University (CDU) and Athena Louise Sartaguda Mangoroban (CNU), with a rating of 85.6 percent.

Ranked 10th together with nine others are Jessa Marie Chan Menor of CNU, Dianne Therese Pedrigosa Villaruel of CDU and Aleksander Joel Mendoza Yared of Velez. They earned a score of 85.4 percent.
