Warriors won against Cleveland, win 3rd title in 4 years

For the third time in four seasons, Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, 108-85 on Friday night at Quicken Loans Arena to complete a four game sweep. Stephen Curry led the Golden State with 37 points, and Kevin Durant with 20 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. At the end of the first half, the Warriors still leading which needs the Cleveland to joint forces to take a steal.

The warriors showcased their firepower early and often times. In the first quarter, three different members of the team made a 3 point shot.A disaster for Cleveland when Steph Curry unleashes a three pointer to end the first half. Cavaliers bounced back as they started the second period and they lead 1 point due to Lebron James offense.

After a taste of temporary lead, Golden State ended the half with another 9-point advantage 61-52. Stephen Curry led all players with 20 while Lebron had 16 points. The Warriors defensive switching strategy is the most infuriating thing that happened in the finals. The Warriors are so damn good that they can selectively throw double-teams at Lebron and collapse into the paint when he blows by his defender yet still rotate and recover quickly enough to challenge the Cavs.

As the 4th quarter approached, Coach Ty Lue seemed to surrender as he let Kevin Love, JR Smith and Tristan Thompson sit on the bench while Larry Nance Jr. Kyle Korver and Rodney Hood took their respective places with Lebron.
