The National Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday arrested a radio station manager and a news director of Bombo Radyo Philippines in General Santos City.The suspects, Jonathan Macailing and Salvador Galano are now both detained for alledgedly extorting huge amount of money from the
pastor.
Apolinario asked the helped of NBI after finding out that the suspects were extorting a huge amount of money, then an entrapment operation initiated.
The two was arrested by the NBI Region 12 office while leaving a restaurant with a paper bag containing P5 million from Joel Apolinario of the Kappa Community Ministry International.
The two suspects denied the charges against them. According to report, Macailing and Galano allegedly attacking the Kappa ministry in their commentaries and reportedly claimed that "KaPa" was illegal and it was a scam.
"The two had already received extortion money from Apolinarion in the past but the demand went up,"Peneza told reporters in an interview.
