The said movie earned exactly Php35, 938, 622.74 on the opening day. It is the biggest opening gross for the year’s Filipino movie.
Direct Cathy Molina posted a photo of the movie on her social media account captioned with “MARAMING SALAMAT PO!!! Nakakaiyak naman to!!! Thank you Lord!!!”
A netizen commented on a post and asked why the amount posted is right down to the merest centavo.
Direct Cathy replied and said that this should be the time that the padding issue should end since the ticket prices have an excess amount, so the rounded off figures is impossible.
