Bacolod city is no longer part of 2019 Top 100 Super Cities according to global consulting firm Tholons International. It's the city major setback after the last year's record placing the City of Smile in the 89th spot of Tholons Service Globalization Index (TSGI) in 2018.
This year top 100 list released by Tholons, only three Philippine cities are left. Manila maintained its second spot, while Cebu and Davao are both fell to 12th and 95th places respectively.
Last year, Cebu city ranked 11th while Davao city placed 75th. Sta. Rosa and Iloilo are also the two other cities in the country that are no longer in the top 100 list.
The annual ranking index provides the evaluation to every locations strategies to multinational corporations, countries, governments, multi-lateral agencies, analysts and investors.
Tholons Service Globalization Index is the leading touchstone to benchmark the accelerated digital transformation of industries and service globally.
