A lucky Filipina OFW in Abu Dhabi has won 12 million Dirhams (estimated to P167 million) in the Big Ticket Abu Dhabi Raffle last December 3, 2019.
The Abu Dhabi Raffle is a regular raffle draw that many expats are joining to look for their luck as it gives huge prizes.
Annabelle Maniklan is a lucky pinay nurse who won the raffle draw with ticket number 283702. According to Annabelle, she has been joining the raffle since four years and just get lucky this year.
"We cannot contain our happiness. I just finished the rosary when Richard called. I thank God for answering my prayer. I am in the UAE since 2011. We used to buy tickets on and off for last four years. We are friends in two groups who share money and buy ticket. One of the friends is now in the US. She left from here in July with her last contribution and we decided to put it this month. Now all of us have won," Annabelle quoted as saying in Philippine News.
Despite of the huge amount she won, Annabelle still has no plan to return in the Philippines and decided to continue her job as a staff nurse in Abu Dhabi.
