Miami Spring Breakers Ignor COVID-19 Warnings: "If I Get Corona, I Get Corona"

While the world is at war to stop the spread of the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19), it looks like many still ignoring the importance of social distancing. 


Thousands of college students recently gather in Miami beaches to celebrate the spring break holiday despite warnings that they will face prosecution if they will gather in large number.  

In one of the interview, one male college student said: “If I get corona, I get corona,” “At the end of the day, I’m not going to let it stop me from partying. … We’ve been waiting for Miami spring break for a while.”



Authorities have already announced that a gathering of more than 10 people is prohibited in the area. Bars and restaurants along the coast have also been told to stop the operations.

Thesame message were echoed by other college students, they would keep partying despite to the high risk that they might acquire the virus or they will spread the virus to everyone.

Videos posted on social media have shown college students enjoying the vacation at the Miami beaches.







The World Health Organization (WHO) has often emphasized about the importance of social distancing in preventing the spread of coronavirus.
