The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has a strong message to everyone who feel threatened online, the NBI will take it seriously.
“The NBI takes seriously any threats made to any person," the NBI statement as quoted by Nikolo Baua on his tweet.
It was a quick response from the agency to actress Angel Locsin's post on May 20, showing the screenshot of a Twitter account offering reward money for killing her and other personalities.
Apart from her, other personalities mentioned on the online threat are Kim Chiu, Coco Martin, as well as ABS-CBN CEO Carlo Katigbak.
“If Angel Locsin and other artists receive threats of physical harm or other means sent thru the social media and they feel these threats are serious, they have all the right to seek the assistance of the NBI so their concerns can be appropriately addressed,” the statement read.
