What a catch! The Marikina City PIO Facebook page recently shared a photo of 25.5 kgs "cream dory" fish that have been caught by a fisher-folks along the stretched of Marikina river.
Many netizens are in awe of the huge catched, giving them a hope to more abundant catch in the future as local government unit continues their effort on the rehabilitation of Marikina river.
Residents in the area said that this huge catched proves the river is now improving and fishes started to find their home.
The Marikina river that was once abundant of plastics and pollution, not even fish could survive - now slowly turning back to life.
