The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Friday, September 24 that 1,084 out of 1,546 passed the September 2021 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) given by the Board of Medicine in various cities nationwide.
Maria Inez Sellado Benedicto landed the first place with a rating of 87.83% alongside Jude Philip Cebrecus of Cebu Institute of Medicine.. Benedicto, a resident of La Carlota City has completed her medical school at West Visayas University and finished her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology at the University of Negros Occidental - Recoletos in Bacolod City.
Dickson Araza Laude of Remedios T. Romualdez Medical Foundation came in second with 87.67%.
They were followed by Niño Pimentel Emocling of St. Louis University with 87.58 percent.
