Kanye West no more, just call him 'Ye', that's it. The 44-year-old rapper's given name is Kanye Omari West, but, according to new legal documents filed, the star is looking to have his name changed to just 'Ye'.
"It went from being Kanye, which means the only one, to just Ye being a reflection of our good, our bad, our confused, our everything."
The moved comes after his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian West is also looking to change her name when their divorce is finalised, as she'll likely want to go back to being just called Kim Kardashian.
Kim filed for divorce following their seven years of marriage, saying they have a "friendly relationship" but are not "getting back together."
Ye released his latest album Donda in August, featuring 27 tracks with a running time of two hours.
