Pictures of actress Ana Jalandoni showing her injuries and black eye took social media attention early Friday, March 18, following reports of alleged abuse caused by her boyfriend, actor Kit Thompson.
Initial police report said that jealousy was supposed the reason behind the mauling incident.
Report said, Ana and Kit had a misunderstanding, which ended up with the actor allegedly hitting his girlfriend in a hotel in Tagaytay City.
The actor has since been brought in by police for further investigation, while the victim is in the hospital for her medical needs.

The agency that manages Kit, Cornerstone Entertainment in a statement said: "We have just been informed that one of our artists, Mr. Kit Thompson, was allegedly involved in an incident that transpired last night in Tagayatay City, Cavite.
"As we have yet to receive a formal report regarding the alleged incident, we could not give a response nor comment on the matter.
"However, we request the public to be mindful of casting judgement based on unfounded reports being circulated online."
