Actor Diego Loyzaga finally admitted that he and TV star Franki Russell are dating just days after he said that they were "not a thing".
Loyzaga, 27, earlier told entertainment columnist Dolly Ann Carvajal in an interview that he's not dating Russell, adding that he "just want to be single now."
The two first sparked dating rumors when Russell posted several photos of them together getting cozy when she greeted Loyzaga on his birthday last May 21. She eventually deleted her Instagram post.
On Monday, in an interview on Monster Radio RX 93.1's All Out segment with Rico Robles, Loyzaga have talked about his real score with Russell.
"You know what, I'm a hypocrite. I said I wanted to focus on myself but, I guess these things you don't expect it eh. It really just comes along," he said.
"We really did click. So, I would definitely say that right now we're dating," Loyzaga added.
He also explained when he said that he was not dating Russell, "ang kapal naman ng mukha ko kung sabihin ko, 'oh, yeah, kami na," saying that they have just known each other for '10 days".
"I haven't asked her. We've just been seeing each other. But, noon 'yun, iba ngayon."
He clarified that they are not yet a couple, but are "getting there."
"We got along, we clicked right away. We had so much in common," Loyzaga added.
Loyzaga confirmed his breakup with actress Barbie Imperial in February, while Russell was previously linked to race car driver Marlon Stockinger.
