HONEST ROVING GUARD RETURNS 600K CASH IN BAGUIO CITY

Last August 25, a roving guard designated at SM City Baguio reportedly returned a pink sling bag with P600,000 in cash.

The incident was reported by the mall management where it happened. The roving security guard of Saber Alpha Security Agency Rodney Vespira saw a pink sling bag that was reportedly dumped by a customer on top of the 25 kilos of display rice at the rice section of the grocery store. Without hesitance, the honest security guard directly turned over the said sling bag to the customer assistant who was identically received by Gladelyn Fernandez.

When they open the said bag to check it, they were surprised to see 6 piles of cash amounting to P100,000 each bundle that was comprised of P1,000 bills.

It was witnessed by security guard Lubosta under RMF Security. After some time, Bracelia Sanchez, a resident of No. 89 Brookside, Aurora Hill, Baguio City, appeared at the customer service assistance center and asked for assistance to find her lost pink sling bag containing P600,000.

The assigned customer service assistant and security guard Darwin Fregillana of RMF-1 Security reviewed the government identification cards of Ms. Sanchez that were inside the bag and were able to verify that the said shopper was the owner of the said bag. The security personnel turned over the bag with the said amount.
