After a three-years hiatus due to pandemic, the University of the Philippines will bring back its UP College Admission Test for the incoming freshmen for academic year 2024-2025.
It will be the first UPCAT since the pandemic hit the world.
The admission test will be held face-to-face on June 3 and 4, 2023. UP will start accepting applications as early as March 2023.
UP is already holding 100% face-to-face classes for laboratory, studio, and practicum courses, among others, and all courses in some of its constituent universities in the first semester of the current academic year.
All grade 11 students who are expected to graduate from senior high school for academic year 2023-2024 may apply.

Applicant may prepare the following documents required together with your application.
Upon completing Form 1 in the Online Portal and clicking on 'Save Draft', a request will be sent to your high school to provide you with a copy of your school record either in digital or hardcopy. You are encouraged to follow up this request to expedite your application. Upon receipt, use this document as reference in filling out Form 2B in the same portal. A certified true copy of your grades placed inside a sealed envelope authenticated with a wet signature of an authorized school official on the flap should also be provided to UP by your high school.
